Listing Agreement

If you do chose to advertise your business and have agreed to our Listing Agreement, we do need information from you to service that request, and this privacy policy explains that data collection and use. If you request to modify an existing basic listing, (which displays only business name, address and phone number), we also need information from you to process that request and communicate our response to you.

This privacy policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you are on our site, and when you use our services.

We will NEVER sell or give your name or personal information to any third party without your expressed permission.

Use of Your Personal Information

If you decide to advertise your business through our Listing Agreement, you will receive a few short emails from us that pertain to the initial registration of your business listing. We may also have infrequent communications with you to resolve issues that may arise with your business listing. From time to time, businesses that have chosen to have a listing with us may receive, directly from us, notification of new services provided by us or our partners, changes to policies and price adjustments for our paid services.

If you request the modification or removal of an existing basic listing, (which displays only business name, address and phone number), we will require contact information from you so that we can communicate our response and the status of the modification process. We will not use this contact information for purposes other than to communicate with you about your modification request.

For our site visitors in general, we may also use personal information in a manner that does not identify you specifically nor allow you to be contacted but does identify certain criteria about our users in general. For example, we may inform third parties about the number of listings, the number of unique visitors, and the pages most frequently browsed.

Cookies

"Cookies" are small bits of text that are either used for the duration of a session ("session cookies"), or saved on a user's hard drive in order to identify that user, or information about that user, the next time the user logs on to a website ("persistent cookies"). We do not use persistent cookies but we do use session cookies during the process to new listings, modify existing listings, or delete listings. These session cookies are deleted from the server soon after your session ends and are not collected or saved. You can still use our website site if you do not accept cookies, but you may be unable to add, modify or delete a listing.

Website Log Files

We site log files are generated that collect the IP Address of the visitor, date, time, and pages visited. Aggregate reports for website visitors are generated that do not contain personally identifiable information.

Regarding Children

The Finance Pages is a general audience site and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. While our website may be viewed by children, we do not wish to receive data from children. No information should be submitted to, or posted at, The Finance Pages by visitors under 18 years.
